Mostly water weight, so this will be the only “dramatic drop”. I was eating a lot of high-sodium food and taking NSAIDS. The Nutrisystem Diabetic diet food isn’t just low calorie, it’s fairly low sodium as well.
Hunger hasn’t been an issue for the most part. In fact, last night when I tried to binge a little (to “celebrate’ the week I made myself a cheeseburger) I felt a little unwell. Overfull. Reflux. Normally a bad thing, but I took it as a another positive – an indicator that my stomach had shrunk and that bad habits would no longer be tolerated.
The exercise portion of the program has been taking the stairs instead of the elevator at work. When your BMI is 47, just getting up and down stairs safely in an office building is a challenge. And cheaper than buying a stair stepper machine.
This weekend: climbing hills and distance walking while trying to keep my inner thighs from rubbing together so much that they ignite my inseams. What, TMI? Sorry about that.
Overall a good, positive week.
